脊髓出血是脊柱外科急癥之一，該病較為罕見，病情復雜，來勢兇險，不及時給予恰當的治療，會導致患者死亡或者永久性神經功能障礙。及早搶救治療有望降低病死率，減少后遺癥，故臨床醫生對該病應有一定的認識并保持高度的警惕。現對脊髓出血的病因和發病機制、臨床表現、輔助檢查、診斷及治療等進行歸納總結，為早期發現治療脊髓出血提供科學的理論依據。
