本文概述了衛生決策支持系統產生的背景和內涵，分析了美國、英國、加拿大和澳大利亞4個發達國家衛生決策支持系統在醫療服務、醫院管理、公共衛生管理等領域的應用現狀，并介紹了MYCIN、CPOE 、DHCP、Panorama等系統的主要功能，總結了4個國家的主要做法，包括緊密結合實際需求促進決策支持技術在衛生領域的應用、重視決策資源建設和知識庫研究、制定科學的衛生信息政策引導決策支持系統有序發展和加強衛生信息基礎設施與核心系統建設4個方面，以期為我國衛生決策支持系統發展提供借鑒。
